Skylon's Saxy Brunch

Put the sax-appeal into the weekend at Skylon’s Saxy Brunch. The well renowned Modern British restaurant situated on Southbank, with views across the River Thames, will jazz up the weekend with their live music bottomless brunch. No brunch is complete without bubbles, and Skylon are offering a bottomless option. Sip on free flowing prosecco as the saxophonist plays some funky tunes and the DJ gets the brunch party started. With panoramic views of London and a stylish comfortable interior, Skylon, situated in the Royal Festival Hall on Southbank, is the ultimate bruncher’s paradise, whether you’re celebrating an occasion or just want some great food and good tunes.

Enjoy beats from the resident saxophonist mixed with tunes from the DJ whilst devouring delicious dishes and basking in the sunlight shining through the floor to ceiling windows.

 

Japanese Dude Food Brunch at Kurobuta

The latest trend from Japan, Japanese Dude Food, has landed at Kurobuta. Situated on the King’s Road and Marble Arch, the tapas-style restaurants have launched a bottomless brunch every Saturday inspired by Japanese flavours mixed with the ‘dude food’ of mid-south America. The new menu features indulgent dishes such as Singapore fried chicken with pickled cucumber and kimchee mayo; BBQ pork belly with peanut soy in a bun; salmon sashimi pizza with truffle ponzu and wasabi tobiko and matcha Mr Whippy. A sushi section sits alongside this and contains some lighter dishes to counteract the hearty dude food, including spicy tuna rolled in tempura crunchies and yellowtail with green chilli and coriander hosomaki. For £35 feast on unlimited sushi, buns, hot and cold dishes and for another £10 you can have unlimited wine, prosecco and Asahi beer.

Kurobuta also has Europe’s first Asahi self-pour table; swipe a credit card or buy a pre-loaded gift card and then pour your own beer. The table fits twelve and has two pouring taps making refilling your glass extremely easy.  Live music or a DJ will be on hand every Saturday to truly get the dude food brunch party started.

 

Plateau's Big Brass Brunch

Plateau Restaurant, Bar & Grill has collaborated with Old Dirty Brasstards to bring a ten-piece drum ‘n’ brass bottomless brunch party to London. Located in Canary Wharf, the band that have played the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude, Secret Garden Party and Bestival are coming to Plateau every fortnight, throughout summer. Alongside the killer show, Head Chef Jeremy Trehout has created a menu with headline dishes such as spicy crab with scrambled eggs on toast; Oreo French toast with whipped cream, and the big Brass burger with Portobello mushroom, fried egg, black pudding and camembert. Lighter dishes can be enjoyed with an all green omelette with tender lettuces and decadent desserts feature the show stopper, Just One Cornet-o with red velvet cream and blueberriesGuests can enjoy two courses plus bottomless prosecco or rosé wine for £48 per person with panoramic views over Canary Wharf. A brassy twist on delicious brunch cocktails can also be enjoyed including the ‘Brassy Mary’, ‘Old Dirty Bramble’ and the ‘Saxo-Tini’ all made with Ketel One vodka.

Strazzanti's Sicilian Bakery & Pop-Up

Head to Sicilian coast without having to worry about the airfair! The Strazzanti sisters draw upon native ingredients and the nature and spirit of Sicily as inspiration for their new Sunday bakery & brunch pop up located in Fitzrovia. The menu showcases a range of Strazzanti signature cakes and pastries as well as savoury dishes such as the sisters’ Sicilian grandmothers classic egg dish, ‘Nonna’s Eggs’. The eggs are lightly poached in a slow cooked tomato sauce and topped with the sisters’ favourite flavours, like wild fennel sausage with Pecorino cheese.

The sisters draw upon native ingredients and the nature and spirit of Sicily as inspiration for their new Sunday bakery & brunch pop up. At the forefront of Strazzanti, is Emilia, with experience working with chefs and restaurants such as Anton Mosimann, The Dorchester Hotel London, Milan and within the 3 Michelin starred restaurant at Le Meurice in Paris. The combination of her disciplined classic French culinary training together with her British Sicilian upbringing and passion to represent the most skilful Sicilian artisans, both old and new, is at the heart of Strazzanti.
